Iraakse sjiitische strijders van de Popular Mobilisation Forces nemen deel aan een militaire training in de heilige stad Najaf. 

De eenheden, ook bekend als al-Hashd al-Shaabi, bestaan uit een 40-tal sjiitische milities. De Popular Mobilisation Forces worden door de Iraakse regering gesteund, en werden opgericht om in Syrië en Irak de strijd aan te gaan met de extremisten van Islamitische Staat (IS).
