Harry Styles has spent his free time on One Direction's world tour doing charity work.
The 21-year-old singer escaped the drama of Zayn Malik's recent departure from the group by spending hours at the Lalela Project in Cape Town, South Africa, where he's been helping impoverished children.
A source explained: "Harry decided to go to the Lalela Project all by himself and he really impressed kids and workers there.
"He offered all of the students concert tickets and spoke to them at length about their lives."
Although the tour has been extremely stressful for the chart-topping group - which is now comprised of Harry, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - Harry recognises he has a responsibility to help such projects.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Harry could easily have spent extra time at his hotel relaxing but he really wants to give back when the band are travelling the world.
"And he likes to take these things on himself away from the rest of the group.
"This tour hasn't been easy for the boys but he knows their lives are far better than many of their fans' and kids being helped by projects like this."
